I just graduated from the YouTube Shorts Creators programs by Youtube and here is what you need to understand about Youtube.
YouTube works like every other social platform.
The major difference is that they pay their creators for their content.
Most people are attracted to YouTube because of this.
Most people struggle for year’s before they start getting paid for their content on YouTube.
There are various pathways to monetising your content on YouTube.
Key criterias include

1. YouTube Pays You
To qualify for the YouTube Partner Programme, you need to be in good standing with YouTube, follow all the YouTube monetisation policies and live in a country/region where the YouTube Partner Programme is available.
Creators in these countries/regions are now able to qualify for the YouTube Partner Program sooner:
Apply to the program and unlock benefits like fan funding and select YouTube Shopping features at the following eligibility criteria:
– 500 subscribers with 3 public uploads in the last 90 days, and either 3K valid public watch hours in the last 12 months OR 3M public Shorts views in the last 90 days.
– Unlock even more benefits including revenue sharing from ads and YouTube Premium when you hit:
1,000 subscribers and either 4K valid public watch hours in the last 12 months OR 10M valid public Shorts views in the last 90 days.
All creators will go through a standard review process upon applying to ensure that their channel meets our policies and guidelines. Some features may have additional eligibility criteria.
2. You create digital products and sell to your audience.
There is a problem you are solving for your niche.
You can create products ranging from $100 and above and ask them to buy.
3. Brand Deals.
Start creating YouTube videos mentioning brands you love or use their products. You may get their attention and have the opportunity to partner with them.
Anyone can earn from YouTube.
Just know there is no shortcuts to your success on YouTube.
You must do the work.
