Nigerian music star, Wizkid, has expressed excitement over the announcement by Ayra Starr of her upcoming album titled ‘The Year I Turned 21.’
Celebrated Nigerian musician Wizkid has drawn attention after his response to a post by rising singer Ayra Starr, who announced the upcoming release of her album, “The Year I Turned 21.“
Sarah Oyinkansola Aderibigbe better known as Ayra Starr, had shared details about her second studio album on Instagram on May 1st, including its release date, album cover, and song list.
The album, to be released on May 31st by Mavin Records, is highly anticipated.
The upcoming album “The Year I Turned 21” will consist of 14 songs and also other artists featuring in collaborations.
Before the album’s release, the songs “Rhythm & Blues” and “Commas” were released as previews.
After announcing the album, Wizkid shared the album cover on his social media, generating online buzz.
Wizkid has previously made negative comments about Mavins records and its artists, referring to Don Jazzy as an “influencer.”
