Congratulations on having a strong wife but know that the same thing you admire might be killing her slowly.
Last year, I felt terribly sad about the news of a healthy woman who just slummed and couldn’t make it alive and stress was one of the factors.
It seems I’m talking to men more these days but believe me,it’s out of love.
🛑Your strong wife is also human. When you notice an usual symptom, encourage her to rest and fill in the gap. The reason why some women cannot rest even when obviously sick is because the men in their lives cannot do anything.
So, you are telling her to rest but the Baby is screaming in the sitting room and the man is just looking or also screaming at the baby as well.
🛑Learn how to be an active team member. This is one of the reasons I can’t understand when some men think knowing how to cook is only for women. No sir. You will need this skill.
As soon as you are ready to get married, please make up your mind to be an active team player.
Why should you sit down just pressing phone and watching the television while your wife is sweating it out in the kitchen,carrying the baby as well,putting clothes in the washing machine, trying to blend things etc.
Ah! To even make matters worse,you are screaming on her to bring your food quickly.
Just one woman doing all of these things.
🛑Begin to really see your wife as your own flesh.
I remember when a client told me she broke down in tears when she visited her inlaw’s place with her husband and saw him helping out so much.
This is something he never does at their own home.
Truth is,some men are yet to fully see their wives as their flesh.
Let me shock you, should anything happen to the wife because of stress,the best your family members can do is sympathise with you. None can fill the gap of a wife.
🛑Ensure your wife gets ENOUGH rest yearly.
I’ve seen some men who do send their wives on vacation yearly just to make sure they rest.
