The family of the late Nollywood star actor, John paul Obumneme Odonwodo professionally known as Junior Pope, has announced an updated schedule for his burial ceremony.
A viral funeral arrangement announces that Junior Pope will be buried on May 17, 2024, in his hometown in Enugu after losing his life in a boat accident.
This new poster comes after the previous one caused controversy due to the exclusion of the term “husband” in the tribute section.
After facing pressure, the family has now recognized the deceased’s marital status. The updated burial poster now includes tributes that acknowledge Junior Pope’s role as a son, brother, husband, father, and grandchild, rectifying the previous one.
The family of the 43-year-old who passed away clarified that the poster circulating online without their permission. They have now created an authorized poster that appropriately honors the individual as a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and grandson.
