Musician Davido expresses joy as his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, is recognized as the “Best Governor of the Year” award.

Famous Nigerian Afrobeat musician David Adeleke, whose stage name is Davido has expressed his joy and support for his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, after his recent accomplishments as the governor of Osun state.

Governor Ademola Adeleke received the “Governor of the Year” award from Vanguard Media Ltd. at their 12th Personality of the Year Awards ceremony held in Lagos. Adeleke won the award over all other governors of Nigeria 36 states.

The governor used his official Instagram account to post pictures of himself receiving an award at an event. The photos captured the presentation ceremony.

Overjoyed by the happy occasion, Davido shared pictures of the event on his social media story. He praised his uncle, describing him as an exceptional governor and captioning the post, “Governor of the Year.”
