An autopsy has suggested that a drug reaction may have led to the death of Mohbad.

According to the findings of an autopsy conducted at LASUTH the report, obtained on thursday, sheds light on the potential cause of the artist’s untimely demise.

Following Mohbad’s death, a comprehensive toxicology test was carried out using samples from various parts of the body, including the stomach, blood, bone marrow, liver, kidneys, and lungs.

During the examination, it was observed that the body had decomposed to a moderate or severe extent and had a wound on the right forearm when it was exhumed.

Surprisingly, the autopsy did not reveal any apparent physical cause of death. However, toxicology tests did detect the presence of Diphenhydramine, an antihistamine. Nevertheless, the levels of the substance were not deemed to be fatal.

Antihistamines are commonly used to alleviate allergy symptoms and address various conditions such as stomach issues, colds, and anxiety.

While the exact cause of death could not be determined, the report suggests that the individual may have experienced an adverse reaction to a drug based on the post-mortem examinations and toxicology results.

It is worth noting that the body was not subjected to an autopsy or embalming before being buried two days after the singer’s passing.

However, an exhumation order was obtained, and the body was exhumed on September 21, 2023, eight days after the burial.
