There is never a dull moment with Chelsea: Boeli changes his mind about the transfer of one player

Todd Boehly has made a number of high-profile deals over the past couple of years, such as the record-breaking transfers of Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.

There seems to be no player out of reach for the Blues, although this approach has not yet yielded success on the pitch.

Boeli doesn’t seem to understand that a head coach needs a well-rounded team to produce results.

Instability due to constant transfers does not benefit the team.

Under Boeli, there have already been three coaches: Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter and Mauricio Pochettino. Now everyone is wondering how the 2024/25 season will turn out under Enzo Maresca.

It was long believed that Conor Gallagher, who was captain under Pochettino, would be sold this summer despite his clear desire to stay.

However, according to The Guardian, information has now emerged that the club may offer him a new contract.

A move to Aston Villa or Tottenham, who remain interested in Gallagher, is not out of the question, but the fact that the Blues are even considering keeping him comes as a surprise twist.

For Maresca, this haphazard approach will certainly become the norm. Until the transfer window closes, the Italian coach will not know who he can count on in the first match of the new Premier League season.
