Tragically, Nick Imudia, the ex-CEO of a prominent Nigerian e-commerce company, Konga, has passed away.
Reports indicate that he took his own life in his Lekki, Lagos apartment by jumping from the balcony on the night of Tuesday evening, June 25th.
Prior to his final moments, he reportedly contacted his brother residing in the United States to provide guidance on how to allocate his assets in case of any unforeseen circumstances.
He also made a heartfelt connection with his daughter from a previous relationship, assuring her of his eternal presence and advising her to gaze up at the sky to feel his everlasting support.
The news of Imudia’s tragic passing has left those close to him in disbelief. The late CEO of D.light, a prominent player in the residential solar energy sector, has left friends, family, and colleagues questioning the reasons behind his decision to take his own life.
Imudia, hailing from the Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, has had a tumultuous journey in his personal life. Previously, he was married to the mother of his beloved young daughter.
Unfortunately, their union came to an abrupt end, plagued by irreconcilable differences that proved insurmountable.
The gravity of the situation was acknowledged by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the distressing incident.
Hundeyin solemnly affirmed the veracity of the matter, stating that the act was indeed committed by Imudia on the fateful day of June 25.
