The internet community has mercilessly criticized a man from South Africa for requesting a refund from his date for the money he spent on her during their time together.
The man, who posted a screenshot of the conversation where he made the request, was likely hoping for sympathy but received quite the opposite.
Much to his surprise, the woman asked for his bank details and not only refunded his money, but also added some extra interest.
Despite facing criticism from many, some have suggested that his attitude could have been a factor in her decision to reject him.
