Chelsea are actively looking for attack reinforcements, but the transfer of Michael Oliseh fell through – the winger went to Bayern.
It was previously reported that the Blues were ready to activate the release clause in the player’s contract while he was playing for Crystal Palace.
However, the London leadership decided to abandon this idea and is now forced to consider other options.
Following the failure of Oliseh, Chelsea have been linked with a number of attacking players, including Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi and RB Leipzig’s Dani Olmo, who could be the ones to replace Oliseh at Stamford Bridge.
In addition to Chelsea, Manchester City are also rumoured to be interested in Olmo’s services.
As for Adeyemi, he looks like a very attractive option for the Blues at the moment.
According to 90min, Chelsea are keen to sign the 22-year-old in this transfer window, valuing his versatility – being able to operate on the wing or in central attack.
It is also reported that Adeyemi’s transfer will cost Chelsea just £25 million.
