Chelsea rejected an initial bid for the 29-year-old earlier this month but the club are reportedly still in talks with Al Ittihad over a potential move.
The Spaniard has returned to pre-season training with the Blues but is believed to be training away from the first team while his future is being decided.
Galetti said that Al-Ittihad had sent the goalkeeper an official offer of a long-term contract worth 7 million euros per year.
He wrote on social media: “Al-Ittihad has sent an official offer to Kepa: a long-term contract with a salary of 7 million euros per year.”
“The club is waiting for a response from the goalkeeper. Negotiations are also underway with Chelsea, who do not consider him as a candidate: contacts between the clubs will continue.”
