President Ruto Touts Technical and Vocational Training as Key to Empowering Kenyan Youth

President William Samoei Ruto emphasized the importance of equipping the country’s youth with technical skills and knowledge to drive the nation’s economic agenda.

“The youth are the drivers of our Economic Plan,” President Ruto stated during his tour to the kinango Technical and vocational college in kwale county

“The technical skills and knowledge that we are imparting in them will empower them to drive that agenda.” The president added

Ruto was accompanied by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, Kwale County Governor Fatuma Achani, Senate Speaker Amason Kingi, and various Members of Parliament and Members of County Assembly.

The President’s remarks underscored the government’s focus on technical and vocational education as a means to empower the country’s young people and spur economic growth.

By investing in programs that provide practical, industry-relevant training, the administration aims to better prepare Kenyan youth to participate in and contribute to the nation’s development.

“We recognize the vital role that our youth will play in shaping Kenya’s future,” President Ruto said. “Our commitment to technical and vocational education is a key part of our strategy to unlock the full potential of this dynamic demographic.”
