Osasuna have agreed with Al Rayyan and David García for his transfer to the Qatar League. The ‘Rojillo’ captain has contributed 750,000 euros to his sale, which is closed for this amount plus eight. The amount could end up exceeding 10 million if some variables are fulfilled. The first interested party from the Middle East had been Al Shabab, from Saudi Arabia, but they did not move forward.
Osasuna have agreed with Al Rayyan of Qatar to transfer David García for 8.75 million, a figure that could exceed 10 million with variables. The Qatari club will contribute 7.5 million and commits to pay 0.5 million more at the end of the player’s contract if none of the variables included in the contract have been fulfilled.

The player will also pay the club 750,000 euros. These figures result in a guaranteed income of 8.75 million euros, to which can be added various sporting variables for success in the different competitions in which Al-Rayyan participates.

After ten years in the first team, David Garcia leaves Osasuna, which has seen him grow in different categories until he was promoted, with the seniors, in the 2014 season. Among his greatest successes, he scored the goal that won the agonising salvation in the second division against Sabadell.

At 30, the captain decided to try his luck in the Qatar League. The club has wished him luck after “his years of dedication to the club” and also good luck in his future professional challenge. The player, who is in Qatar at the moment, will say goodbye to the ‘Rojilla’ fans on his return.
