Chelsea’s owner, Todd Boehly, made headlines as he dramatically exited the stadium following the team’s disappointing 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in their season opener.

The opening match of the 2024/25 Premier League season, Chelsea suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat at home to Manchester City.

Erling Haaland and ex-Chelsea player Mateo Kovacic scored the goals for the visitors.

Chelsea’s co-owner, Todd Boehly, was dissatisfied with the performance and left the directors’ box following the 2-0 deficit.

Despite significant financial investment, Chelsea lacked attacking prowess throughout the match.
