Popular Media personality and entrepreneur Toke Makinwa has turned to social media to express her thoughts and feelings candidly.

In the early morning of Saturday August 31, media personality Toke utilized her Instagram stories to clarify a prevalent misunderstanding about her persona she is often labeled as a ‘man-hater’ or ‘man-basher.’

In her Instagram story posted, she shared her deep affection for marriage and the happiness it brings into her life.

she expressed concern that contemporary society is transforming the essence of marriage into something unfamiliar.

However,Toke voiced her disapproval of the growing trend where material wealth is placed above genuine connections, calling for a renewed focus on cherishing people over possessions.

She highlighted that unless there is a change in viewpoint, more people might choose to lead isolated lives, missing out on the transient pleasures and shallow relationships that define contemporary social interactions.

It is worth noting that Toke Makinwa tied the knot with fitness coach Maje Ayida on January 15, 2014, after an eight-year love story that led them to their wedding.

Until 2017 when her marriage faced challenges and ultimately ended.
