Nasty Blaq, a prominent skit creator, has voiced his concerns regarding the excessive online disrespect directed towards musician Davido.
He emphasized that the criticism aimed at the DMW boss has reached an alarming level, suggesting that many individuals are exploiting Davido’s well-known generosity. Blaq took to his X account on Sunday to express his thoughts, stating, “The level of disrespect Davido is facing is simply too much; the man just wants to lend a helping hand, and that’s all he’s trying to do.”
This commentary from Nasty Blaq follows a recent incident involving content producer Korty EO, who publicly criticized Davido and his team. while allegedly that they instructed her not to share an interview video she had filmed with the artist, despite having received prior approval to do so.
Nasty Blaq’s remarks highlight a growing concern within the entertainment community about the treatment of artists who strive to support others while navigating the complexities of public perception.
According to Korty EO, stated that; “They [Davido’s team] agreed that I should re-edit this video and now have said I must not post the video for reasons I still don’t understand. I am not scared of anyone, but I am wise enough to stay out of battles I’m not equipped for,” she wrote.
“I’ve filmed so many artists who eventually tell me not to post the video. If you don’t want people to see you for who you are, please do not come on my show. Stop wasting my time.”
