Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz has expressed his deep pride and ambition in representing Morocco, stating, “My dream is to make history with the Moroccan national team and bring joy to Moroccan fans.”
In an interview with MAP at the Real Madrid training center in Valdebebas, the young talent opened up about his aspirations with the Moroccan squad.
Díaz highlighted the warm reception he’s received after joining the team. “I am incredibly grateful for the love and warm welcome I’ve experienced from Morocco and all of Africa,” he said, emphasizing his pride in wearing the Moroccan jersey.
He acknowledged the growing strength and bright future of the Moroccan national team, with which he feels honored to be part of.
Reflecting on his integration into the team, Diaz said: “Thanks to the love and support of everyone, I’ve always felt like part of this big family,” he stated. He pledged to give his best to contribute to the team’s success and bring happiness to Moroccan supporters.
The player also acknowledged Morocco’s rich football heritage, with generations of players having brought honor to the national colors. “The current squad is no exception,” he said, noting the recent successes of Morocco’s teams in events like the 2022 Qatar World Cup and the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
The footballer also praised the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) for its commitment to developing national football under the leadership of King Mohammed VI. He commended the Federation’s focus on improving sports infrastructure and backing national teams, recognizing these efforts as pivotal to the sport’s growth in Morocco.
