Celebrated Afrobeats star David Adeleke, widely recognized as Davido, has revealed that his wife, Chioma Adeleke, was instrumental in his choice to marry.
The acclaimed musician, shared this intimate insight during a revealing interview on The Morning Hustle podcast, shedding light on the personal motivations behind his commitment.
However it was his heartfelt tribute to Chioma’s impact on his life that resonated most with listeners, as he candidly admitted that his venture into marriage was significantly shaped by her unwavering support and encouragement.
He however disclosed that ;“My wedding was the happiest day of my life. Chioma has been my girl for 12 years so it was only right I married her. I was already famous before we met but I wasn’t big then.
“If it wasn’t her [Chioma], I’m not getting married. There’s no point.”
It would be recalled that on June 25, 2024 In a grand celebration held in Lagos, the renowned artist Davido and his beloved Chioma exchanged vows.
