In a recent episode of Pulse Fun Facts, the couple shared their experiences since getting married on October 28, 2000.
When asked if she had ever had an “I am done” moment in their relationship, Omoni Oboli replied:
“I’ve had moments where I was like ‘why did I get married so early?’ but never ‘I’m done’. Ever.”
The couple also reflected on their early marriage, recalling their frequent arguments.
Omoni Oboli pointed out that their misunderstandings were due to not dating prior to their wedding.
“When we first got married, we quarreled every single day. We quarreled a lot. We quarreled so much. “It’s because we didn’t date. That’s what people don’t realise. We didn’t date. So, that first month, we were really just getting to know each other well.”
Nnamdi Oboli also shared advice with young couples, highlighting how crucial it is to take responsibility in a marriage.
“Marriage is a responsibility. You don’t go into a marriage expecting it to happen to you. You are not the third party in your marriage. You are the relationship. It’s between two people; you have to make it work.” He said.
