Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo says Ola Aina will be out for a “while” with a calf injury and will miss Saturday’s game against Aston Villa.
The versatile right-back will be sidelined for an unspecified period after tests revealed a calf injury.
The Portuguese football tactician described Ola Aina’s absence as a ‘big blow,’ emphasizing his importance to the team.
“He has already undergone the scan and will be out for a while, unavailable. A big blow (to lose him),” Nuno Espírito Santo told reporters at Thursday’s pre-match press conference.
When asked what he will miss about the Nigeria national teamer, Nuno Espírito Santo responded: “His quality, talent, and the routines he already has with his teammates—we are going to miss him.
“It is a problem with the calf.”
Aina started all 30 Premier League games for Nottingham Forest this season, logging 2,574 minutes, scoring two goals, and providing one assist.
