Nigerian actress and model Beverly Osu recently opened up about her relationship preferences during an honest interview with Chude.
Beverly expressed her preference for dating older, self-assured men, influenced by the dynamics of her upbringing.
In a family dominated by three brothers, She is convinced that the necessity for her partner will exude confidence. She firmly believes that anyone she chooses to introduce to her family must demonstrate maturity and the ability to assert themselves in the company of her brothers.
Beverly opened up about the painful experience of being left behind by her father, alongside her brothers, only to have him try to reconnect after she gained recognition from her stint on Big Brother Africa.
According to her she says:“I have outgrown the daddy issues, I have always dated guys way older than me so I don’t think it’s daddy issues. I feel I am surrounded by boys and all the men in my life are confident, that’s my brothers right so if we have to be together you must be that confident to stay in the midst of my family of boys that carry a chip on their shoulders.
So I just feel as the Ada and the baby of the house I don’t want to bring in a man that is not confident. Even to my friends, I love confident people I feel like if you don’t know yourself you can’t be my friend because I don’t want to be able to influence you.”
