Music producer Samklef, has compiled a list of the most notable Nigerian musicians he has helped elevate to international prominence.
Samklef, a producer and blogger, disclosed his role in discovering and fostering talent in the Nigerian music industry. He produced notable songs for artists like Wizkid and Olamide.
Notably, Samklef discovered Simi, Ric Hassani, and Tunde Ednut, and provided mentorship to Dami Krane and Phenom.
Samklef revealed his significant contributions to the music industry, including producing six hit songs for Wizkid and assisting Olamide with the 2013 track “Stupid Love.”
Despite his humility, he believes that many have overlooked his accomplishments due to his modest demeanor.
He claimed to have discovered and mentored several artists, including Simi, Ric Hassani, Tunde Ednut, and Dami Krane, as well as contributed to hit songs for other musicians.
He specifically credited himself with writing a major hit for Durela in 2009, Vector’s first big hit, six classic hits for Wizkid, his own hit “Molowo Noni,” and D’Prince’s hit “Jonzing World.”
