In a remarkable display of generosity, Davido’s father Adedeji Adeleke, the Chairman of the Pacific Group, has pledged a substantial N1 billion to the centenary Endowment Fund of the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church.
This noteworthy contribution was announced during a heartfelt thanksgiving service held on Sunday at the C&S Church headquarters in Lagos, commemorating the legacy of his beloved late mother, Esther Adeleke.

During the gathering, Davido’s father disclosed a staggering sum of money before the senior pastors and the entire congregation.
The gathering was a glamorous occasion, featuring prominent figures such as Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, along with the spouses of Governor Adeleke, Titilayo and Ngozi Adeleke.
Notable attendees featured media tycoon Dele Momodu, alongside Kazeem Akinleye, the chief of staff to Governor Adeleke.
Also present were House Speaker Adewale Egbedun, head of service Ayanleye Aina, and several members of the State House of Assembly and the state executive council.
However, celebrity blogger Tunde Ednut’s recent video quickly caught the eye of many online, including music sensation Davido.
He pointed out his father’s love for philanthropy, especially towards churches and educational initiatives. With a touch of humor, Davido quipped; “Anything Church or education no worry u don cash out 😂.”
Furthermore, he took to his Instagram story to honor his father’s giving spirit, expressing how it serves as a daily source of inspiration for him.
He shared; “My dear father inspires me every day! Love this man right here.”
